A note from our founder

I started Simply Mae as I began making more intentional choices in every part of my life, including beauty. I wanted a self-tanner that gave me a confidence boost and reflected the cleaner, simpler approach I was trying to bring into my daily routine.

But finding that balance was harder than I expected. With other self-tanners I had tried, I was frustrated by orange-looking color, strong odors, stains on my belongings and a patchy fade in the days that followed. I wanted the ritual to feel as good as the glow.

That was the beginning of Simply Mae. What started as a personal wish blossomed into a brand built around the self-tanning essentials I wanted to share: a full-size body mousse, an application mitt and a routine with clear, simple guidance.

For me, the details matter, from the scent to the ingredients we talk about openly. Our mousse includes aloe vera juice, green tea leaf extract and licorice root extract. You can explore the complete ingredient list and decide what fits your skin and your own approach to beauty.
