Simply Mae 30-Day Returns & Refund Policy

1. Acceptance of This Policy
By completing a purchase with Simply Mae LLC (“Simply Mae,” “we,” “our,” “us”), you agree that these terms form part of the sales contract and are legally binding under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Your mandatory consumer-protection rights under local law remain unaffected.
2. 30-Day Return Window
You may return eligible merchandise within 30 calendar days of the date you receive it (“Receipt Date”). For EU/UK customers this exceeds the statutory 14-day cooling-off period.
3. Eligibility Conditions

Non-returnable items: final-sale or clearance items, customized products, perishable goods, intimate apparel, gift cards, downloads/digital content, opened cosmetics, and any item marked “non-returnable” at checkout.
4. Return Procedure & Shipping Cost

Request an RMA by emailing hello@simplymae.co or via your account dashboard.

Ship the item within 7 calendar days of RMA issuance using a trackable service.

Include the completed RMA form in the parcel and keep proof of shipment until we confirm receipt.
Return-shipping fee (U.S.)

For all returns not caused by our error (defect or wrong item), a flat USD $4.95 return-label fee applies.

The fee is automatically deducted from your refund unless you choose store credit, in which case we waive the fee.

International returns: you pay actual return freight; the $4.95 fee does not apply.
5. Refunds & Processing

6. Exchanges
One free size/color exchange per item when stock is available. Request the exchange when you obtain the RMA.
7. International Customers

Ship returns DAP (Delivered-At-Place) to the return address provided on your RMA.

Mark customs forms “Returned Goods – no commercial value.”

Duties/taxes you originally paid to your local authority are refundable only from that authority.
8. Abuse-Prevention & Fraud Screening
We track return patterns to protect against wardrobing, item-switching, and similar abuse. We may, at our sole discretion:

Refuse a return or levy additional fees (up to a 25 % restocking fee) where we detect:

More than 5 returns or a > 50 % return-rate in any rolling 12-month period,

Evidence of wear-and-return or altered serial numbers,

Mismatched or damaged items.

Suspend accounts engaged in suspected fraud.

Request government-issued ID for high-value or repeated returns.
Fraudulent returns may be reported to payment networks, law-enforcement, or customs authorities.
9. Governing Law, Venue & Dispute Resolution

Governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA (conflict-of-law rules excluded).

Exclusive jurisdiction: state and federal courts in Laramie County, Wyoming, for any disputes not subject to arbitration.

Optional binding arbitration (AAA Consumer Rules) for claims under USD 10 000, held by video or in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
10. Statutory & Mandatory Rights
This Policy does not limit any non-excludable consumer rights, including (i) the three-day home-solicitation cancellation right under W.S. § 40-12-104, or (ii) mandatory cooling-off or product-safety rights in your country of residence. Where local law confers greater protection, that law prevails.
11. Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited by law, Simply Mae’s liability arising from any return or refund is limited to the purchase price of the merchandise. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Policy Updates
We may amend this Policy at any time by posting the revised version on our website. Changes apply to purchases made after the “last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted for at least 30 days.
